Form and texture are central to Teder's work. She is fascinated by the millennia-old Japanese nerikomi technique, which is characterized by the interplay of patterns resulting from the union of colored clay masses.
She is equally fascinated by the spatial roughness and textural richness of paper clay.
The use of unique techniques highlights the artist's creative characteristics: not being satisfied with what has already been achieved, opposition to the mediocre idea of art, and a clear will to capture something eternal, lasting, to which one returns again and again.
