Jana Zgun

I was introduced to ceramics at the Estonian Academy of Arts in 2008, and I am still a fan of clay. I like the natural colors and textures of clay and porcelain, which is why I rarely use colored glazes.

But when I do, I don't cover the entire surface of the clay with glaze. I like to make and succeed best in minimalist forms, patterns taken from nature, natural color combinations, small details.

My favorite objects are jewelry and small sculptures.
