“My professional activity in ceramics began in 2008, when I graduated from the Bornholm Glass and Ceramics School (KADK) in Denmark. Since then, I have been living and working in Haeska, Lääne County. I have a workshop - a studio that has developed into a larger space over the years. I teach future ceramicists to turn on a pottery wheel in Olustvere and Vana-Vigala. I give pottery lessons at the nearest school, Ridala Basic School, and I am a form teacher at Haapsalu Art School.
My work is mainly for everyday use, I turn mostly on a pottery wheel. The forms of my works are simple and clear. The decor conveys an emotion that is mostly born during the work, behind the pottery wheel. My works invite you to look at them, touch them and use them on a daily basis. Maybe to feel joy and pleasure!”
