Maarika Saarelaht

I have been an official ceramicist since 2008, when I graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts with a degree in ceramics. I like to experiment with clay bodies and glazes and combine different techniques. By constantly experimenting, I keep my work playful so that it would be interesting to create and each result would be unique. I love randomness and non-recurring beauty in finished items. Clay, as a material itself, is an endless source of inspiration - so many opportunities for research and experimentation.
