Mare is from Rakvere. In 1982 she graduated from ERKI / Estonian Academy of Arts with a degree in ceramics. She is engaged in ceramics and porcelain painting and has made 6 solo exhibitions during her artistic career. She uses stoneware as well as porcelain. Mare likes to make faceted vases, under the common flag "let's see what comes out". She also loves to make mus with painted figures or attaching techniques.
